Submission guidelines
The agency welcomes submissions of fiction and non-fiction, plus TV and radio representation enquiries. It does not represent poetry, plays, original screenplays, scripts or picture books for children. What to send: background information and an account of the writer's career to date, together with a synopsis and the first three chapters (approximately 50 pages) of the work. TV and radio: send details of relevant experience and expertise instead of manuscript material. Formatting: material should be double spaced with numbered pages, and the writer should keep a copy. Simultaneous submissions: writers submitting to other agents at the same time should say so. Return of material: an email address should be given, or a stamped addressed envelope enclosed, if the writer wants material returned. Where to send: submissions go to submissions@barbaralevyagency.com or by post to Barbara Levy Literary Agency, 64 Greenhill, Hampstead High Street, London NW3 5TZ.
