Include a one to two line elevator pitch, a 500-800 word synopsis (not a teaser, spoilers included), genre, up to five comparative titles published in the last three years, the writer's bio, how the writer could help promote and sell the book, the first three chapters or approximately 10,000 words from the beginning of the book, and contact details. Formatting: proposals, pitch documents and sample text should be sent as attachments, preferably in Word, Pages or PDF format. The covering email should include the elevator pitch and short synopsis, and should note if the project is on multiple submission.
