About
Catherine founded Paper Literary in 2021, with a vision of building author careers.
She is originally from Kentucky and, after a background in law and public affairs, began her publishing career in New York before moving to London to work at Curtis Brown. She built her own list of debut authors and has sold six and seven figure deals in the US and UK. She is also the author of the memoir Inferno and the novel The Devoted.

Submit by email to submissions@paperliterary.com, addressed to the specific agent you are querying. In the subject line include: name of agent, title of manuscript, your first and last name. Include your cover letter in the body of the email. Attach a one page synopsis and the first three chapters (approx 10,000 words) of the manuscript, attached as Word documents. For fiction, only submit when you have a complete manuscript. They do not represent picture books, middle grade fiction or screenplays/dramatic works, and do not accept work created with generative artificial intelligence.
