About
Philippa founded PSA Ltd, a literary agency, in 2024.
She graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Classical Civilisation before completing a Masters in Publishing at Kingston University. She has worked at literary agencies including Peters, Fraser + Dunlop, Sheil Land and David Godwin Associates, spending ten years building her list. She represents novels across the literary-commercial scale as well as non-fiction.

Agency submission guidelines
PSA does not currently consider children's books (including middle grade and young adult), poetry, high fantasy, or in non-fiction: business, self-help or parenting books. Submit by email to submissions@philippasitters.co.uk. For fiction: a cover letter introducing the book and yourself as author; the first thirty pages of the book, double spaced; and a synopsis of the book, one or two pages long, single spaced. The cover letter can be within the submission email, while the sample writing and synopsis should be attached as Word documents, or a PDF if that isn't possible. For non-fiction: a proposal introducing the book and yourself as author, plus a detailed chapter outline. Information on the book's potential market, similar titles and marketing possibilities is helpful but not essential. Send up to three sample chapters from the book, double spaced.
