Agency submission guidelines

The agency considers all types of fiction and narrative non-fiction. It does not represent academic writing, poetry, self-help, picture books or screenplays. Submissions are accepted by email only, not by post; postal submissions are not accepted. Writers should hit SUBMIT at the foot of the page to email their work, typing the name of the preferred agent in the subject line, and writing a brief covering letter in the body of the email introducing themselves and their work. For fiction, attach a document containing a synopsis of fewer than 400 words plus the first 15,000 words of the novel. For non-fiction, attach a proposal with an overview of the book and a sample of the writing of up to 15,000 words. Files should be Word documents (.doc,.docx). An acknowledgement email is sent once the submission is received.
