Submission guidelines
Bad Betty Press only accepts poetry submissions during announced windows, via two separate calls each using a different email address. East Midlands Pamphlet Prize: for poets living, working or studying in the East Midlands, submitted to littlebetty@badbettypress.com. Full Collection Submissions: open to writers anywhere in the world, submitted to submissions@badbettypress.com. What to send: a maximum of 10 pages of poetry, drawn from a complete manuscript rather than single poems intended for an anthology. Formatting: PDF or Word doc/docx files are preferred, though other formats will be accepted (they will advise if unable to open them). No more than one poem should appear per page. Covering email: keep the email brief, with no need to explain the work; a short bio may be included. Rules: submit to only one of the two opportunities, using the correct email address. Work sent outside the announced submission dates will not be read.
