Submission guidelines

Canelo focuses on commercial fiction. Genres sought include saga (historical family novels), action (military and espionage thrillers), adventure (historical adventure, mythical retellings, historical fantasy), romance, commercial women's fiction and crime/psychological thrillers, with particular interest in submissions from marginalised voices. Excluded genres: young adult, children's, poetry, non-fiction, short stories and literary fiction are not accepted, and submissions in these genres will not receive a reply.
