Submission guidelines

Closed to submissions as at 1 June 2026, and not reopening before spring 2027. What they publish: English language speculative fiction only, book length, as one story or the first in a series. Short story collections may be considered; anthologies are by invitation, so do not submit a single short story. Especially keen on previously unpublished authors. When open, send: an email with a short synopsis of up to 500 words, your intended audience, the word count and the sub-genre, such as science fiction, fantasy or alternate history. Mention if you are submitting to multiple publishers at the same time, and include biographical details, any publishing history and any award nominations. Manuscripts should be 45,000 to 110,000 words. Do not send an unsolicited manuscript; it will not be read. If interested, they will ask for the first chapter or the first ten to fifteen pages, preferably as an rtf file in standard manuscript format. Terms: digital first, publishing electronic then print editions, with an advance of royalties paid on formal acceptance.
