Submission guidelines

Faber accepts unsolicited work through two doors only: poetry, and Creative Pride for children's books. Everything else, including fiction, non-fiction, plays and screenplays, needs a literary agent. Poetry: send six examples of your work to poetrysubmissions@faber.co.uk. Submissions are confidential. No reply within eight weeks means it has not been successful. Children's poetry collections are not accepted. Faber Children's (Creative Pride): open to LGBTQ+ writers and illustrators, picture books to young adult, with no closing date. Email your work as a PDF or Word doc to reader@creativepride.co.uk, with links to anything that showcases your work. The inbox is not monitored day to day, so queries will not get a reply.
