Submission guidelines

Non-fiction (Academia Lunare): the press's academic branch for speculative non-fiction is open all year round. It publishes monographs, conference proceedings, collections of papers, articles and dissertations, with a full publishing contract available to individual authors and faculties, and welcomes essay collection proposals from higher education and doctoral courses. Send a proposal by email to submissions@lunapresspublishing.com, saying whether the book is yet to be written and giving a rough word count. Reference using the Harvard system, or another system used consistently throughout. There is also an annual call for papers on a set theme, taking essays from academics, independent researchers, fans and creative writers. Luna Press only considers speculative fiction: science fiction, fantasy and dark fantasy and their sub-genres, covering themes such as horror, alternate history, utopian and dystopian fiction, supernatural fiction and combinations such as science fantasy.
