Submission guidelines
Merlin Unwin Books accepts unsolicited submissions with a countryside theme, such as natural history, herbalism, foraging and countryside sports. Children's books are not published. What to send: a brief outline of the work, the word count, and two or three sample chapters (if available) in a Word document with a list of contents. How to send: email submissions, with the subject line including the word MANUSCRIPT. Include name, email address and contact telephone number. By post: if unable to email, post the proposal to The Editor, Merlin Unwin Books Ltd, 6 Rural Enterprise Centre, Eco Park Road, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 1FF. Include an SAE if the manuscript is to be returned, and call 01584 877456 to give notice that it is being sent.
