Submission guidelines

Poetry collection submissions are only considered during periodic open submission windows, and must be sent via the Submittable portal only. Email or postal submissions are not accepted; if Submittable cannot be accessed, contact the press to arrange an alternative. There is no submission fee. Not currently accepted: poetry pamphlets, children's poetry, collaborations or multi-author manuscripts, or illustrated books. Both debut and previously published poets are considered, of all ages. What to send: a sample of twenty poems from the full collection manuscript, in one single document, together with a short biographical note detailing any previous or forthcoming publication. Publication history: the complete collection must not have been previously published as a whole (in physical or online form); individual poems published in magazines or journals, or a selection from a pamphlet, are acceptable. A track record of previous publication (in magazines, journals, prizes, anthologies, pamphlets or previous collections, or commissioned performance/audio/video) is expected; work with no such track record is highly unlikely to be accepted. Only one submission at a time is permitted: simultaneous submissions to other publishers, or further manuscripts sent before a response to the first, are not considered.
