Submission guidelines

Open to proposals for non-fiction within Crowood's subject areas. It does not publish fiction, biographies or autobiographies. What to send: an initial approach by email or letter, never the complete manuscript or photographs; if interested they will ask for more. Include a synopsis, a sample chapter or two with a table of contents, and a brief author biography. Where: submissions@crowood.com, or by post to the Managing Director at The Crowood Press, The Stable Block, Ramsbury, Wiltshire SN8 2HR. Do not enclose original material, as manuscripts cannot be returned. Subjects: practical and specialist non-fiction across art and architecture, country interests, crafts, home and garden, horology and jewellery, model making and engineering, music, performing arts, photography, military history, sport and transport.
