Anne Clark
Anne founded the agency in 2012 after many years as a commissioning editor at publishers including Piccadilly Press and Hodder Children's Books, where she was also an editorial director. Her clients' books have been published at home and worldwide, translated into dozens of languages, adapted for the stage, included in national book initiatives, optioned by film and TV companies and have won major book awards. She works closely with her authors, drawing on her editorial experience to get manuscripts into great shape before they go to editors, and works with specialist colleagues on international and film and TV rights. She is keen to hear from writers from all backgrounds, whether debut or already published, and particularly welcomes submissions from groups currently under-represented in publishing.
