She graduated in English from King's College London and has worked in publishing for over fifteen years, starting her career at Simon & Schuster before launching Gleam Titles and later founding Bergstrom Studio in 2021. She has guided more than thirty-five titles onto bestseller lists and her authors have been listed for prizes including the Orwell Prize and the Women's Prize for Fiction.
