Submission guidelines

Submissions are sent by email only to tom@cullandco.com. Include a brief summary, a short synopsis, sample chapters, a chapter breakdown (for non-fiction), a little about the author and any relevant writing experience, marketing and PR opportunities, and comparable titles. For novels, use 12-point Times New Roman, Courier, or Arial in black text; indent new paragraphs and dialogue except for the first paragraph of a chapter or scene break; mark scene breaks with a centred hash sign (#) on a blank line; include a header with a keyword from the title, the author's last name, and the page number; and start each chapter on a new page. The title page should include the manuscript title, an approximate word count (rounded to the nearest hundred), and contact details.

AI policy

The agency does not accept work written, edited, or created with the help of AI tools; submissions must be 100% human-made, and anything found to be AI-generated may be turned down or removed.
