Submissions are sent by email only, to tom@cullandco.com. What to send: a brief summary, a short synopsis, sample chapters, a chapter breakdown (for non-fiction), a little about the author and any relevant writing experience, marketing and PR opportunities, and comparable titles. Formatting (novels): use 12-point Times New Roman, Courier, or Arial in black text. Indent new paragraphs and dialogue, except for the first paragraph of a chapter or scene break. Mark scene breaks with a centred hash sign (#) on a blank line. Include a header with a keyword from the title, the author's last name, and the page number. Start each chapter on a new page. Title page: include the manuscript title, an approximate word count (rounded to the nearest hundred), and contact details.
