Georgina represents literary, film, television and radio clients at Georgina Capel Associates.

She joined William Heinemann's rights department in 1983 before becoming Rights Director at Secker and Warburg and then Jonathan Cape. She later became Group Rights Director of Random House and has negotiated international deals for authors for over twenty-five years.

Agency submission guidelines

Send a covering letter briefly describing the story or proposal and outlining any writing experience (e.g. previously published work, short story or journalism, creative writing qualifications; for non-fiction, what qualifies the writer to write about the subject). Include a synopsis of approximately 500 words, the first three chapters of the work, and an email address and/or telephone number.
