She worked for over fifteen years as a commissioning editor, first at Michael Joseph and then at Headline, where she was Co-Publisher of the Review imprint and Publisher of the main Headline imprint. She commissioned bestselling and prize-winning authors including Sheila O'Flanagan, Lyn Andrews, Barbara Nadel, Manda Scott and Caroline Graham. She joined Kate Hordern Literary Agency in 2009.
