About

Enrichetta founded Red Kite Literary in January 2026.

Originally from Italy, she moved to the UK to complete a DPhil in Modern Languages at Oxford University. She spent ten years at Curtis Brown, working in translation rights and as a primary agent, before starting her own list representing UK-based and international writers and illustrators across adult and children's.

Looking for

  • picture books, mostly author-illustrators and illustrators, with selectivity about text only
  • bright and bold pre-school styles, mixed-media, anything in the vein of Chris Haughton or Flavia Drago, with a really funny idea or simple but impactful story
  • graphic novels in the younger space, an improbable duo, an unlikely hero, with humour as the key word
  • young middle-grade and chapter books for first readers and for those children who are learning to read but also still like to be read to, anything in the Holly Webb or Dick King Smith space
  • middle-grade that is funny, silly, disgusting, adventurous, witchy, spooky, with a strong hook, a propulsive narrative, and series potential, with a soft spot for nightmares, ghosts and dragons, a boy protagonist and lots of humour in the vein of Loki or Wimpy Kid, an action-packed adventure for readers of Percy Jackson and Lockwood & Co, and a great story with Wednesday vibes
  • true young adult written for teenagers, high concept fiction including romance, retellings with a twist, thrillers, dystopia in the vein of Songlight by Moira Buffini

Not looking for

  • script only for graphic novels
  • cross-over and young adult that could sit on an adult list
  • non-fiction
