Submission guidelines
WGM Atlantic accepts submissions for fiction, non-fiction and screenwriting by email only, with separate addresses for each category. Fiction: Send a covering letter introducing the author and the book, a captivating blurb, a one or two-page synopsis and the first three chapters only of the manuscript. Identify every attachment with the author's name and the book title, and put both in the email subject line. Submit to submissions@wgmatlanticgroup.com. Postal submissions are not accepted or returned. Formatting: The synopsis and manuscript should be in Word format, 1.5 or double spaced, with all pages numbered and the work clearly marked in chapters. Non-fiction: The book does not need to be complete at the time of submission, as non-fiction is usually sold on proposal. Send a covering letter, a proposal and a 20-page writing sample. The proposal should cover why the author should write the book (background and credentials), what the book is about and why it needs to be written, and a chapter breakdown with a short explanation of each chapter. Screenwriting: Send an introductory email headed with the writer's name and the title of the work, including a brief personal background, a writing CV and any recent professional credits. Attach a treatment (maximum two pages) and a pilot episode or feature script. Do not attach multiple scripts unless requested. Submit to hello@wgmatlanticgroup.com. Postal submissions are not accepted or returned.
