After an MA in Publishing from UAL she spent five years as a scout at London Literary Scouting, specialising in children's, young adult and science fiction and fantasy across all ages and working with publishers and media companies around the world. She joined the agency in 2026 from Felicity Bryan Associates, where she was a literary agent. Alongside building her own list she sells foreign rights in the agency's children's and young adult titles across many territories.
Peters Fraser + Dunlop takes submissions by email only, to one agent at a time. Each agent's interests are set out on their own profile. How to submit: email the agent or their assistant directly. Hard copies are not accepted. Fiction: the first three chapters or around fifty pages, a full synopsis, and a covering letter with a brief CV of your writing career if appropriate. Non-fiction: a detailed proposal, with the covering letter and CV. Replies: the agency aims to reply within eight weeks. If you have not heard after twelve weeks, take it as a pass from the agent you sent it to.
Adam heads the books division at PFD and represents a wide range of prize-winning and bestselling authors, among them Sunday Times and New York Times names. He joined the company in 2010, after completing a Masters in English Literature at King's College London. The Bookseller named him its Shooting Star in 2017.

Caroline Michel DBE has been chief executive of PFD since 2007, and chairs the Hay Festival, having previously served as its trustee. She was formerly chair of the BFI Trust, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and of the Royal Society of Literature, vice president of the London Library and a trustee of Historic Royal Palaces. She has sat on boards including the BFI and Somerset House, served on the Booker Prize Advisory Committee, and has been a longstanding champion of libraries and librarians.

Elizabeth is a native New Yorker whose publishing career has spanned both sides of the Atlantic. She worked within the United States editorial departments of Oxford University Press and Alfred A. Knopf before joining the Elaine Markson Literary Agency in 1996. In 2004, Elizabeth moved to London to set up and run their United Kingdom office, then joined Curtis Brown in 2006 as a Senior Agent and Director. In 2012, Elizabeth moved to WME, representing a broad range of award-winning and best-selling authors in literary fiction, biography, journalism and cultural history.
