About

Camille is the founder of Solas Literary Agency, representing adult, young adult and children's fiction and non-fiction.

She has worked in publishing for more than ten years, including as an Editorial Assistant at Routledge and as Rights Executive and Digital Content Editor at Bolinda. She later worked at David Higham Associates before joining Diamond Kahn and Woods Literary Agency as Junior Agent. Camille holds an MSc in Publishing from Edinburgh Napier University and an MA in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh.

Query via Query Manager. Include a one-paragraph pitch that reads like a book blurb, capturing the story's central premise, characters and stakes, and a synopsis of 1-2 pages outlining the full plot, including the ending. No sample chapters are needed at this initial stage. For young fiction (5-7 and 7-9), middle grade and children's non-fiction. Only UK-based authors can be considered. Exclusive submissions are not required.
